Sky Cinema: what’s new in December 2019?

Here’s everything coming to Sky Cinema this month…

Sky Cinema grabs a lot of the bigger blockbusters, but often promotes smaller movies that have gained a nice little following, so we’re keeping track of all the new films that are hitting the service in the coming month.

In December, there are Star Wars films aplenty, and more musicals than you can shake a stick at. A little indie movie called Avengers: Endgame will also arrive (never heard of it).

As always, quite a few of the films in the lineup will also be available via NOW TV, but here’s an official look at what’s coming to Sky Cinema in December…

Mary Poppins Returns – 25th December

A grown up Michael and Jane reconnect with Mary Poppins at a tumultuous time in their lives. Magic ensues.

Avengers: Endgame – 26th December

The Avengers may just get another chance to beat villainous purple boi Thanos, but what will be the price of turning back time?

The Aftermath – 31st December

Set in postwar Germany, Rachael Morgan (Keira Knightley) arrives in the ruins of Hamburg to join her hubby Lewis, but dashing Alexander Skarsgard is there to throw a spanner in the works.
